My First Post

I am new to the blogging scene, so this will be a fun and interesting way to learn more about it.  I am currently working towards obtaining my license in 5-12 Business Education.  I’ve always been interested in teaching and the FasTrack program seemed like the perfect fit to reach my goal.  I love being able to engage students and share knowledge within my content area.  I really hope I’m able to motivate and inspire students.  This passion has led me to where I am today.

I graduated with a Business degree from Bemidji State University in 2007 and have been working in the business office of the school district in my home town.  When a position came open for a computer/business teacher last summer, I quickly jumped at the opportunity and was hired!

Lately, my interests in research have really been centered around technology.  I’m captivated by all of the different ways students can learn using various technological advancements.  If money was not an issue, I would love to purchase iPads for our classrooms and download the needed textbooks on them.  They can be so interactive and engaging for students, it’s absolutely amazing.

I’m looking forward to getting familiar with Web 2.0 technology.  Hopefully it will be something I can incorporate into my classes at a later date.

    OK, so, I can ‘reply’.

What am I missing? Is there a link, button, or enigma machine that I use to just “post”? I don’t see the option anywhere.

    Any help appreciated.

    • You have to log in to be able to post. The log in button is on the right hand side way down the page. I thought this tool would generate emails to me, it doesn’t. Sorry for delayed response.
